Newcastle United strike duo Demba Ba and Papiss Demba Cissé will be heading home early next week after Senegal crashed out of the African Cup of Nations at the group stages.
Equatorial Guinea left it late to clinch a dramatic 2-1 win at the Bata Stadium, condemning Senegal to their 2nd defeat in the group games.
It means that The Lions are now bottom of Group A and unable to quality for the quarter finals after coming in to the tournament as one of the favourites.
Both Ba and new Toon striker Cissé will be hopeful of returning and playing some part for Newcastle when the magpies travel to Blackburn next Wednesday.
Senegal still have one group game to play against Libya this Sunday.
