Tim Krul has moved to quell speculation linking him with a move away from Newcastle United claiming he is happy with how his career is progressing.
The 23 year old Dutch stopper is a reported summer target for Chelsea and Spurs.
Krul told the BBC:
“I’m loving life at the moment. Sixth in the league, we couldn’t wish for much more than that.”
“It’s one of those periods, people get linked everywhere. For players they have to switch off, if things happen, they have to happen. I don’t read the papers or the internet, it will play with your head.”
“I’m playing for the club I’ve always wanted to play for. I’ve been working hard for five or six years now to be where I am at now.”
Since joining NUFC from Ado Den Haag in 2006, Krul has made 59 first-team appearances and has been an ever present in the Premier League this season.
