Newcastle United have a surprise fan in the form of seven-time Formula One World Champion Michael Schumacher.

An online magazine reveals that the German racing driver’s affection for the club began when he witnessed the Toon triumph against Sunderland.

Sad Obsessed Pathetic. Safc a club with more league titles,bank of England team,team of all talents and a bigger Home attendance of over 75k to nufc 60k odd.Yeah much smaller team.

  how do sunderland have a bigger home attendance if they have a smaller stadium? man utd wouldnt even get 75k to a game. newcastle get 50+ to each game, scumderland get about 40. good comment there

Looking forward to the derby actualy,safc played newcastle off the park in both games last season and didnt get the points they deserved with only 1.Sessegnon getting sent off ruined the game at the sports direct arena. Looking forward to the safc fans doing the WONGA sorry CONGA. Oooooh ooooooooh oooooooooh lets all do the WONGA. Adam Johnson is going to prove who he supports after all lol.

We are talking about now in terms of size, bigger Stadium, better fans, richer club and better city. As for Wonga it is refreshing to know that the people of Scumberland have paid to have St James's Park reinstated.

"A Grown up" Not that I'm surprised to hear such complete dog cack from a Mackem, but It really frustrates me when Newcastle and Sunderland fans, especially ones that claim to be "grown ups", can't take slight banter and start these pathetic argument where Newcastle and Sunderland fans talk about pointless stats and who's won the most damn titles. I love it when Sunderland were ahead of us for those couple of years during our bad period, and Sunderland fans bashed every Newcastle fan talking about history, and saying that the present tense is the only tense that matters, to try and reinforce their "top dogs" status, yet now I hear you idiots talking about who's won the most league titles. When was the last time either of us won anything? Do either of us really have the right to use what we've won in an argument? Just please stop this pointless rubbish and just take it as a bit of banter.
