There’s plenty of talk about Wayne Rooney and Robin van Persie, but Newcastle United have a strikeforce to ‘strike’ fear in Premier League defences.

We’re approaching the last day of Ramadan for many followers of the Islamic faith (last fast today or tomorrow) – and Toon’s Muslim duo might be taking to the pitch on the festival of Eid against Spurs.

Last season Demba Ba scored 16 since Ramadan. This season, he is joined by Papiss Cisse. A full season with two top strikers is a mouth-watering prospect.
