The first batch of live TV games are out – and six Newcastle United game have been rescheduled by Sky and ESPN.

ESPN, who will show Toon’s Europa League games next season will also show our opening two games against Spurs and Chelsea in August.
The fixture away at Chelsea will be played just two days after the first leg of our Europa League play-off first leg. NUFC have confirmed that their application to both Met Police and UEFA to move the game has failed.
A statement read:
“Prior to the TV selections being made, and in accordance with normal procedure, the club made an application to move the Chelsea game to Sunday, 26th August. Unfortunately the Metropolitan Police refused this request on the basis of other scheduled activities in and around London at this time.
“The club and the Premier League subsequently made representations to UEFA to request that our Europa League match be moved from the Thursday to the Wednesday in order to avoid the team having to play two games in three days. UEFA unfortunately rejected this request.”
Sky will show our visit to Goodison Park in September, the home game against Manchester United, the Wear-Tyne derby in October and Toon’s visit to Liverpool in November.
