Newcastle United’s new home kit for the 2012/13 season has not been leaked – a senior PUMA official has today told NUFCfans.co.uk.

A number of leaks have appeared online in recent weeks, with the most recent one appearing to carry spikes from a Newcastle United club shop promotional flyer.
However, a PUMA representative has told NUFCfans.co.uk that pictures of the leaked home shirt do not resemble the actual official design – although the last two home kits have been leaked prior to their official launch.
Newcastle’s new third kit for next season, believed to be lime green (picture below) has been leaked online, the official has admitted.
We’re also told that there has been a delay in the launch of the kit because Newcastle United will not be playing any home friendly matches in this pre-season.
The PUMA official said:
“There has been a delay in the new kit being released and it probably will not be launched until close to the first home game of the season.
“This is because Newcastle don’t have any home friendly matches planned due to the Olympics.
“We [PUMA] will be a meeting the club at the end of next week to discuss the launch date of the kit.
“As of yet, the new home strip has not been leaked anywhere. The third kit has been seen on a few websites.”
The German sportswear company are the official kit suppliers of Newcastle United until 2014. They also sponsor England’s Euro 2012 conquerors Italy.
Newcastle‘s new away kit for next season has already been launched.
