Europe will be some achievement for recovering Ryan

Ryan Taylor says Newcastle United are looking to qualify for Europe this season.

The 27-year old, recovering from a minor injury suffered at Aston Villa, says anything less than European football will be a disappointment.

He told Sky Sports:

“That [Europe] is the aim now. It wasn’t at the start of the season. But there are 13 games to go and it is a massive aim for us. If we can stay in there and still keep getting results, I don’t see why not.”

“If we can achieve that, it will be some achievement, because so many people wrote us off before the start of the season.”

Ryan Taylor is hopeful of being back for the Wolves game on 25th February.
